Heartfelt Wishes

Allereerst goed nieuws! Ik heb net een examen voor mijn werk gehaald! Ben echt heel erg opgelucht omdat ik deze echt lastig vondt. En dan gaan we zometteen naar een concert van Carlos Santana in Antwerpen en daarvoor lekker uit eten, superveel zin in!

Gisteren druk bezig geweest met kaartjes, kan er helaas nog maar 1 laten zien omdat de andere nog aan moeten komen bij degene voor wie ze gemaakt zijn. Over dit kaartje ben ik zelf niet echt tevreden maar dat komt denk ik door de verschrikkelijk zoete kleurtjes, ik hou er niet van. ik heb de schets van Sketch Saturday gebruikt!

First of all, good news! I just had an exam for my work and I made it! I'm so happy, because it was really hard. And within a few hours we will go to Antwerp, first for dinner and then a concert from Carlos Santana. So looking forward to this!

Yesterday I made some cards! But I can only show one, the other ones I still have to send them out. I don't really like this card, I think it are the colours, too sweet. Not my thing. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Trick or Tweet

En hier nog een kaartje van mij. Eindelijk doe ik weer eens met Karen's Doodles Challenge (dieren) mee. Dat was weer een tijdje geleden, erg jammer want die Digi's zijn harstikke leuk. Deze keer Trick or Tweet. Ik heb ook gebruik gemaakt van de sketch van Sketch Saturday. Ik heb voor het eerst de afbeelding met deze techniek bewerkt. Gaaf he? Craqueleren met UTEE, als je wilt weten hoe dat werkt moet je maar eens op de blog van Marga kijken! Ow en voordat ik het vergeet, deze kaart doet ook mee aan de challenge van Sentimental Sundays.

Ik heb een weekje vakantie maar zoals eerder gezegd ben ik druk met het Filmfestival in Vlissingen als vrijwilliger. Het is echt ontzettend leuk en gezellig. Heb al vijf films bekeken en ga zo metteen weer! Tussendoor probeer ik nog wat te scrappen, ik had twee mannenkaarten nodig om twee jongens te feliciteren met hun nieuwe baan. Ik kon echt geen leuk plaatje vinden met dat thema en die mij ook nog eens aansprak, dus het is "Iepje met Lekkestok" geworden van In2Stamps. Ik had deze stempel nog niet eerder gebruikt dus dat werd tijd, vindt hem wel erg leuk! Ook erg leuk om te kleuren! Het papier is van BasicGrey Oliver. Deze keer heb ik een schets gebruikt van Sketch Saturday.

As I told you before I have vacation but I'm very busy with the Filmfestival in Vlissingen as volunteer. It is so much fun! I have watched five films so far and I'm going to watch one within the hour! I also try to get some scrapping done, I needed two male cards to congratulate two men with their new jobs. Couldn't find a image that fitted with this theme and that I liked. So I went with "Iepje met Lekkestok" from In2Stamps. I did not use this one before but I liked it! Very nice stamp to colour! The paper is from BasicGrey Oliver. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Als zijn neef Charlie (Jeremy Allen White) in East Harlem wordt vermoord en zijn beste vriend wordt opgepakt als de dader, komt Mike in de problemen. Based on the controversial Nick McDonell novel, Twelve follows highschool dropout turned successful drug dealer White Mike (Chase Crawford) in New Yorks's Upper East Side. Business is booming when all of the kids are home from boarding school and everyone has money to blow. Mike leads a double live, concealing the truth from his childhood friend Molly (Emma Roberts) while his supplier Lionel (Curtis Jackson) pulls Mike further into the world of the Manhattan drug trade. Mike's two lives begin to collide when his cousin is brutally murdered on an East Harlem playground and a new drug, Twelve, emerges as the recreational drug of choice.

It is droopy weather but that's perfect for scrapping! But it seems that my mojo is lost, or maybe Halloween or these colours are not my thing. Not that pleased with the result. But I show you anyway because it will compete in a few challenges:

Kenny K!

As I told you before, I'm so in love with the Kenny K images! And they have a couple of new ones in the All Stars Collection. They are fun too! Well I made two cards today, one for my brothers birthday and one for my fathers birthday. They both celebrating their birthday on the 16th! Isn't that special? My brother was my mothers present 25 years ago!

Well I made them these cards with Kenny K, so perfect for male cards! I made them with paper from Bo Bunny "Back to Basics". Love this paper as well!

Let the sunshine in

En het is nog steeds niet koeler.... Ik had van de week al een plaatje gekleurd en ik heb er vandaag een kaartje van gemaakt. Ik heb hiervoor de sketch gebruikt van Sketch Saturday. Het papier is hetzelfde als van het kaartje van gisteren. Tja en veel meer kan ik er niet over vertellen..... Ik heb nog fantastisch nieuws maar daar maak ik zo een apart berichtje van!

And it is not getting any cooler yet...... This week I coloured a stamp and today I made a card with it. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. The paper is the same as the card from yesterday. Well, can't tell anything more about it.... I have some great news to tell, but I will make another post about it!
